Basketball & Bumblers

4/8/2014 Florida and Wisconsin weren’t the only ones dropping the ball at the Final Four; their fans are even clumsier.

Prior to the close of this year’s men’s college basketball season, ProtectCELL® conducted a study to find which of the Final Four participating schools’ fans were most destructive with their mobile devices. While we don’t recommend lining up your brackets based on such data (who are we kidding? Your bracket may have a better shot), the study’s results proved consistent with the game outcomes.

And we weren’t the only ones to notice this convergence of blunders.

While several media outlets promoted ProtectCELL’s conclusions – including Market Watch, Reuters and the Wall Street Journal – writer Oliver VanDervoort of TMCNet’s Mobility Tech Zone took it a step further, noting the similarities in dexterity between the competing schools and their fans.

You know the final scores – read on to see how UConn, Florida, Kentucky and Wisconsin fans stacked up in ProtectCELL’s Mobile Madness findings.

Thanks to Oliver and TMCNet!
