Mission 3.2.1.

Here at ProtectCELL, we’ve always prided ourselves on “doing what’s right.” This is for our customers, partners, team members and everyone else connected to ProtectCELL. Following this motto has not only helped us grow as individuals and a company but has led us to give back to our community. Mission 3.2.1. is a specially-designed program allowing us to do just that.

3. Giving Nationally

ProtectCELL donates 3% of the total value of our reclaimed phones to a nationally-based charity. Two organizations we currently support are: Cell Phones for Soldiers - a non-profit organization dedicated to providing deployed and returning troops cost-free methods to communicate with family while serving in the United States military, and The National Coalition Against Domestic Violence - an organization that works for major societal changes necessary to eliminate both personal and societal violence against women and children.

2. Giving To Our Team Members

To continue to grow as a company, we know that our team members must also continue to grow. That’s why part two of our mission pushes individuals to invest in themselves. Each one of us here at ProtectCELL receives extra paid time off to do something for our community and ourselves. Time is allotted for charitable work as well as personal enrichment, like a class or certification. How people choose to use their hours to enhance their lives is up to them.

1. Giving Locally

Many ProtectCELL employees already contribute to a local charity that is near and dear to them. As a company, we’re helping them take it a step further. Every quarter ProtectCELL makes a contribution to a local charity selected by a ProtectCELL Team Member. Although our company headquarters is located in Metro Detroit, our national sales team can select charities in their communities as well.

No one says we have to do these things, but we know it’s the right thing to do. No matter the amount or cause, every contribution helps. And we’re proud to say that we’re doing our part to make a difference.

Return, Reuse, Recycle

As you know, your ProtectCELL plan does much more than just provide you with the use of another cell phone or tablet device whenever you need one. One of the additional benefits under your ProtectCELL plan is a free cell phone recycling program available to all of our past and present members. Here at ProtectCELL, being environmentally friendly isn’t just something we talk about, it’s something we do.
